This is a gallery of photographs taken by my dad, Richard Horn. As a lifelong rail fan, he took hundreds of railroad photos over the years, mostly Kodachrome slides.

Since about 2005, I've been digging through his boxes of slides, scanning my favorites, and posting them on my web site. I've included whatever information I've been able to glean from the slides, the web, and from helpful viewers. Recently, I've moved the collection to this site, rhornrails.net, and I plan to continue to add scans as time permits.

Although many of the thumbnails have been cropped, the photographs generally show the full frame. In some cases, I've provided additional cropped views to zoom in on interesting details.
